Bio

George Tzortzis was born in Athens 1977 and has been practicing photography since 1995. Studied Photography and Visual Communication in the UK, where he also lived and worked as a professional photographer.

Nowadays, he lives in the suburbs of busy Athens, where he runs a photographic studio. As a regular contributor to photographic magazines and newspapers, he continuosly studies and practices new photographic technologies and delivers various of classes and seminars throughout the year.

Passionate about his commercial work, always makes time for his fine art photography and his personal projects.
An often traveller to nearby and far away destinations, chases the mood of the dawn and dusk and their way to transform landscapes.

Inspired by dreams and possessed by nightmares, he finds relief and expresses himself through both found and staged scenes, that he often creates and photographs.
